Creamy Spaghetti

I have already shared my tomato-based spaghetti here and now sharing my version of the "white sauce."  This is a fairly easy recipe.

- Half a kilo of pasta of your choice (Penne works the best though I only had spaghetti pasta)
- 2 cans of tuna - plain/spicy/oil-based just not the ones with sauces, again whatever floats your boat.  You can also use leftover grilled/fried or oven roasted chicken.
- Can of mushrooms
- Small can of evaporated milk
- Cream of asparagus (mushroom/chicken whatever is in your pantry just don't get the ones with potatoes in them)
- Grated cheese
- Black pepper
- Frozen mixed vegetables (optional)
- Garlic and onion
- Olive oil

How To:
1.  Cook pasta in a large sauce pan and follow package instructions.  Once that is done, drain and set aside.
2.  Meanwhile, heat olive oil and saute garlic and onion.  Add mushrooms and cook for 3-5 minutes.
3.  Add the tuna (if it is oil-based you can include the oil if you want, but if it is water-based drain it well before adding).  Stir until well combined.
4.  Add mixed vegetables.
5.  Slowly add cream of asparagus and milk.  Stir constantly and simmer, do not boil.
6.  Once everything is mixed, add grated cheese.  Season with pepper.
7.  Mix in the pasta and remove from heat.
8.  Plate it and serve with a smile ;)

There you go, enjoy!
