So this is a late post. Last March 31, we celebrated Jellybean's aunt's birthday. We have been scouting for a nice buffet resto since we have big appetites. Since we have tried Yakimix, Dad's/Kamayan/Saisaki, Tong Yang, Sambokojin and Vikings, we have decided to try out other buffet restos out there. Good thing there's a new "club" in town and after reading reviews online, we made a reservation.
I love the bubble chandeliers and comfy seats, very classy and hotel-like interiors. The place can seat a lot, my estimate would be around 200(?), but it is very spacious so it doesn't feel like its cramped at all.
Now on to the food. I will just let the pictures do the talking. Oh and by the way, taking pictures from the buffet is prohibited, you have to ask permission first. I gave them my blogger card and they allowed me to take pictures.
Crustacean Section - very fresh and you can opt to have it cooked to your liking (buttered, with garlic, sweet chili, cheesy pesto, etc.). They have shrimps, crabs, oysters and mussels. I also learned that they serve lobster on weekends.
Tempura Section - You see I love tempuras, but their station made me sad as it was a bit messy and took quite a while for them to refill it. They could also improve on the presentation, but taste wise, it is just okay.
Cheese and bread
For dessert . . .
Candies and choco fountain
Native sticky cakes
Drinks, fruit shakes (papaya, melon, watermelon, pineapple - everything so yummy)
And here's what I had:
Miso soup and tempura
Roast beef/macaroni/steamed veggies and potato
They sang happy birthday song to our Aunt and gave complimentary cake, which you can take away after.
She also had wine
Overall, the quality of the food is good especially the seafood and sashimi. I haven't tried their other dishes and will definitely come back also for the lobster (weekends only). Service is excellent as the staff were attentive. They even assisted our tita (who's a senior citizen by the way), often asking her what she want and they would get it for her, talk about being queen for a day. Price - For weekdays, 800+ for lunch and 1000+ pesos for dinner. Weekends, 1188+ for lunch and dinner. When we went there, aside from the birthday celebrant promo, they also had 20% off, what a steal! We would definitely go back!
I also want to show how classy the ambiance is, even their restroom is well maintained and very relaxing and clean.
Have a nice day everyone! Remember, God is good all the time :)
